The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (MIC) program was created by the European Commission in 2015 and aims to promote international exchanges with higher education institutions outside Europe. In 2020, the MIC Russia and MIC Tunisia project of the Cnam has been selected. Thanks to Erasmus+ grants, our first students departured to Tomsk in October 2021. Here are some of their testimonies.
"Здравствуйте,
Как дела?
My mobility is going perfectly well. Tomsk is a very nice city and we were well received at the TPU. As last week was the national vacation week, we had the opportunity to visit Russia by train from Moscow to Tomsk."
(Jean-Baptiste NATALI)
Was the 4-month language and cultural preparation at the Cnam before your departure useful to you?
Yes, it allowed me to have a better understanding of the language and culture. Thanks to this preparation, When I arrived in this country, I was able to have some basic abilities to make myself understood.

What will this experience bring you personally? Professionally?
"This experience is a great human experience that allowed me to meet students and engineers from all over the world, whether for personal or professional reasons.
спасибо"
(Geoffroy CAPET, Electrical Systems alternant student, Option "Power Electronics, Networks and Motorization)
What are your biggest surprises in Russia?
When we arrived, even in Tomsk, for all the administrative procedures, we had to be helped by a translator or by a member of the TPU to make ourselves understood. I was also surprised by the price of daily life, you can eat well for cheap. I noticed that the Russians are also very welcoming and warm with foreigners.
During the Epiphany, I went to swim in icy water in Tomsk (in the Boyarkskoe lake). I was filmed by journalists to appear in the daily news of Russia (the channel Russia 1 and Tomsk Tv2)"
